Life Skills for Youth (LSY) is honored to serve as a tournament sponsor for the Central Arkansas Elementary Basketball League (CABEL) 2025–2026 season.
We were proud to support the Cheer & Dance Competition on Friday, February 28, 2026, and the Champion Games on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Programs That Shape Futures

Each program supports personal growth and practical skill-building. Youth develop emotional awareness, improve academically, and build habits that last. Families benefit from guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support that encourages a stronger home environment.

Anger, Time & Money (ATM) Management

Our flagship program empowers youth with practical life skills in anger control, time management, and financial responsibility. The journey begins with tools for managing anger through group sessions, one-on-one mentoring, speakers, and workshops. Youth then build time management habits for daily routines and responsibilities. Finally, they explore long-term financial success with guidance from professionals, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.

Community Feeding Program

Since 2007, LSY has partnered with the Arkansas Department of Human Services to provide healthy meals and snacks to youth in our community. Led by a certified chef, our program teaches families how to prepare nutritious meals at home—promoting healthy habits and stronger households.

We’ve served over 1,700 families and 3,800 students through:

• Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
• Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

Parent Academy

Parent Academy equips parents with effective skills and strong values to support their children’s growth. Through group sessions, workshops, and hands-on training with parent specialists, participants learn practical strategies for building a positive home environment.

The program begins with self-reflection through guided Q&A, then moves into goal-setting, patience, and preparedness. Parents create a personalized plan that fosters structure, confidence, and a better future for their families.

After-School Academy

LSY’s After-School Academy provides a safe, supportive space for youth to grow academically and personally. Students receive homework help, one-on-one tutoring, and a STEM-focused curriculum to boost academic success.

Beyond the classroom, programs include workshops on leadership, life skills, healthy habits, fitness, and our signature ATM (Anger, Time & Money) Management training—preparing youth for real-world success.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 2 PM–7 PM

Summer Academy

LSY’s 10-week Summer Academy blends learning, leadership, and fun to keep youth engaged and growing all summer long.

Mornings focus on math and literacy, while afternoons include STEM, Spanish, and field trips that spark curiosity and exploration. The program also emphasizes health, wellness, and team-building activities.

Meals Provided: Breakfast, lunch, and snack
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

99.99% Graduation Rate for Seniors!

Youth who participate in LSY through senior year have a 99.99% graduation rate from high school. Many of these bright students have gone on to win scholarships and college acceptances. Our LSY Alumni have the tools to focus on positive pathways to purpose.
